Tips and Best Practices

1. When using the Hydrants List it is good practice to create saved views. 
   

1. You can edit what columns appear using the dropdown, resorting columns and if creating a saved view, it will save your grid modifications. 

1. When using the map from the Hydrants List, the map will only show the number of hydrants listed in grid. 
   

1. It is important to remember that if using the map from Hydrants List hydrants may not populate until zooming in with the + or – icon. 
   

1. When uploading Hydrants download the sample spreadsheet from the Import Hydrants for a guide then use the Import Wizard to upload. 

2. Only one Hydrant Service Checklist can be created. 

3. If using the app users can not start a service or flow test from the map, they can however still use the app to perform the test by navigating to the Hydrant List or from the Pre-Planning map.
