Creating a Hydrant Service Checklist

Purpose

  1. To explain how to create a Hydrant Service Checklist.

Instructions



1. Navigate to the Hydrants module and click on Hydrant Service Checklist






2. Click on Add Check List to create a new Checklist.

Multiple checklists can be created within your agency to be associated with servicing different hydrant types.

3. Give your Hydrant Checklist a name in the space provided.

4. Select all hydrant types that this checklist pertains to from the dropdown menu. You can select more than one.

5. Toggle or check the options you want to use.

  1. Turning active on will make it active for use in your system.
  2. Turning it off will deactivate it, but you will still be able to see previous service records under this checklist.
  3. You can choose to require all items to be completed in order to save the checklist.
  4. You can also choose to allow the "Pass All" or Pass/Fail options to be used.


Toggle or check the options you want to use.



6. Click the plus icon next to the Categories to start creating sections within the checklist.

  1. Once you click the plus icon to create a category, you can give it a name.
  2. Click the plus icon again for additional categories.
  3. You can use the three horizontal bars to drag the category up or down in the list to re-order.
  4. The X will deactivate a category.
  5. The pencil icon opens a category to edit it.
  6. The trash can icon deletes a category.
  7. The disc icon saves the category.

7. Under Response Type, select from the menu the type of response you want for this question.

8. To automatically include this checklist item in the Work Order Summary, toggle on the button.





9. The three icons in the top right corner of the checklist item allow you to deactivate, duplicate, or delete an item.

10. Click on Save when you are finished creating Categories and Checklist items to complete your Service Checklist.
