Tips & Tricks 

1. Be very aware of the “Meds- View Seal Numbers” Permission. Users with this permission can view the current seal number while completing a check. It is recommended to remove that permission from line personnel to ensure users are required to enter the seal number physically in front of them while documenting a medication count. 

2. You’ll need to add at least one source to receive medications to the module. Sources need to be documented in the vendor directory and vendor type selected as pharmacy. 

3. When initially building out your Med Kits, you’ll use the receive function. You can “receive” multiple medications at one time by continuing to click on the “Add Med” button for each additional medication. This will allow bulk receiving & prevent the need to record a signature for each med added.
