Unit-Based Assignment for Events and Activities (New Feature)

What – Users can now assign events and activities by unit rather than by individual person. This update streamlines how assignments are managed within the Events and Activities workflow.

Why – Assigning by unit better reflects how public safety organizations operate, allowing agencies to align task and event assignments with their unit-based staffing structure rather than tracking individual personnel.

How
- Navigate to the Events and Activities section of the application
- When creating or editing an event or activity, locate the assignment field
- Select the option to assign by unit instead of an individual person
- Choose the appropriate unit from the available list and save your changes

Use Case
- A coordinator scheduling a training event can assign the activity to an entire unit rather than selecting each member individually.
- When staffing changes occur, a supervisor can reassign an activity to a different unit without needing to update individual personnel records.
