Enhanced Ad-Hoc Invoice Reporting with Expanded Contact and Billing Details (Feature Enhancement)
What – Ad-hoc invoice reporting has been enhanced to include four new fields: Contact Phone, Contact Email, Contact Company Name, and Billing Type. Contact information now automatically reflects the invoice's billing type, and business-billed invoices correctly display contact names and billing addresses. Additionally, the Inspection Address column has been renamed to Service Address for improved clarity.
Why – These enhancements provide more complete and accurate contact and billing information within invoice reports, making it easier to manage billing workflows, follow up on outstanding invoices, and review invoice records. The updates also resolve missing information for business-billed invoices and clarify address labeling to improve reporting accuracy.
How –
Navigate to Ad-Hoc Invoice Reporting.
When creating or running an invoice report, add any of the following new columns as needed:
- Contact Phone
Contact Email
Contact Company Name
Billing Type
Contact information automatically populates based on the invoice's associated billing type, such as Occupancy, Vendor, or Business.
Invoices billed to a business contact now correctly display Contact Name(s) and Billing Address information.
The previously labeled Inspection Address column now appears as Service Address.
When a Contact Company Name is available, it also displays directly on the invoice view.
Note: These enhancements apply automatically to ad-hoc invoice reporting and the invoice view. No changes to existing data entry processes are required.
Use Case – When reviewing outstanding invoices, users can include Contact Phone and Contact Email in an ad-hoc report to quickly access contact information for follow-up without opening individual records. Business-billed invoices now display the correct contact names and billing addresses, eliminating previously blank fields. Additionally, the Billing Type column allows users to organize and filter exported invoice data by billing category, improving reporting efficiency and accuracy.
