Community Connect Address Review Configuration
- What - Added configurable Community Connect Address Review settings that allow First Due Employees to control how Residential Community Connect and High Hazard portal users select, create, verify, and submit addresses. Administrators can now require users to select existing addresses, allow new address creation, determine how verified and unverified addresses are processed, and maintain existing service area enforcement across all configurations.
- Why - This enhancement provides greater flexibility for managing address quality while reducing administrative effort. Agencies can tailor address submission workflows to align with their operational policies by balancing automatic acceptance of verified addresses, department review requirements, and restrictions on unverified address creation.

How
- Navigate to Update Client > Community Connect.
- Enable Community Connect Address Review.
- Configure Address creation by selecting whether users must choose an existing address or may create a new address.
- If new address creation is enabled, select the preferred New address handling option:
- Review all new addresses.
- Accept only verified addresses.
- Accept verified addresses and review unverified addresses.
- Review verified addresses and block unverified addresses.
- Click Save to apply the configuration.
- Note: These settings apply to both Residential Community Connect and High Hazard portal users.
- Note: Service area boundary validation is always enforced regardless of the selected configuration.
- Use Case - A department can require all users to select existing addresses when maintaining a complete address database, automatically accept verified addresses to reduce review workload, or require administrative review of new addresses when additional validation is needed before users can fully associate their properties with their accounts.

This enhancement is configured during initial Community Connect setup for new users. If you are an existing user that may need to make changes please reach out to your Customer Success Manager.
