Purpose Statement
Adding an audio file to a custom online course allows training administrators to include audio-based instruction, supplemental information, or reference material as part of a course in the Training module.
Audio files can be configured as required content when attendees must complete them to receive credit for the course or as optional content when they are provided for reference.
Background Information
Audio files can be added while building a custom online course in the Course Library.
To add an audio file, the course must either be in Draft Status or Published so long as it has not been assigned to another user. Adding an MP3 file is one of the available options for building course content. Each content type is optional and can be added based on the training needs of the course.
Audio files are uploaded as MP3 files and can be added by browsing files on your device or by dragging and dropping the file into the upload area.
The maximum file size is 50 MB.
Important Note: This is part of a series of steps to create a custom online course. While each content type is not required to create an online course, they are presented in order here for efficient presentation.
