Purpose Statement
The Course Library allows Training module administrators and course creators to add and manage training courses for their agency. Adding courses to the library helps standardize training content, support scheduled training activities, provide access to drills, and organize E-Learning content when applicable.
Background Information
The Course Library is located within the First Due Training Module and serves as the central location for creating and storing agency training courses.
Courses may be created for different training needs, including regularly scheduled training, drills, or E-Learning content. Depending on the selected course type, course creators may be able to include supporting materials such as YouTube links, descriptions, default durations, and attachments.
When the Visible in Course Library toggle is enabled, end users can access the course from the library and self-enroll.
Required Permissions
Users must have access to the Training Module and permission to manage or create courses within the Course Library.
Confirm the appropriate Training and Course Library permissions in First Due based on the user’s role and agency configuration.
