Purpose Statement
This article explains how to view other users’ work schedules within the My Shifts calendar. This allows users with appropriate access to review schedules for individuals, groups, or districts without leaving the My Shifts view.
Background Information
By default, My Shifts displays only your own work schedule. Users with the correct permissions can filter the calendar to view schedules for other personnel using several available filters, such as user, qualifier, group, payroll ID, agency personnel ID, or district. This is commonly used by supervisors, schedulers, and administrators for coverage awareness and coordination.
Required Permissions
- Scheduling – Access My Shifts
- Scheduling – My Shifts - View All Users

Step-by-Step Guide
Access My Shifts
- Click the First Due Logo.
- Select Scheduling.
- Select My Shifts.
Open Calendar Filters
- Confirm your personal work schedule is visible.
- Locate the filter options above the calendar.
Apply Filters
- Use available filters to narrow results by:
- User
- Qualifier
- Group
- Payroll ID
- Agency Personnel ID
- District
- To use the District filter, clear all selected users first. This enables the district dropdown.
View Other Users’ Schedules
- Select the individual(s) you want to view.
- Click Search.
- The selected users’ work schedules will display in the calendar.
Return to Your Schedule
- Click Reset, or
- Refresh the page to return to your own work schedule.
Best Practices
- Clear existing filters before switching to a different filter type, especially when using districts.
- Use groups or districts when reviewing multiple schedules to reduce repeated searches.
- Reset the calendar after reviewing other users to avoid confusion when making personal scheduling decisions.

Q: I do not see other users when I search.
A: Verify that you have the My Shifts - View All Users permission enabled.
Q: The district dropdown is disabled.
A: Clear all selected users before attempting to select a district.
Q: How do I get back to my own schedule?
A: Click Reset or refresh the page to restore your personal calendar view.
