Background Information
Availability settings control whether and how call shifts are sent to a user. By default, users may be available or unavailable depending on the configuration selected by the agency. The My Shifts calendar allows users to manage these settings directly, including marking specific dates and times or applying availability preferences based on assignments.

Step-by-Step Guide
Access the My Shifts Calendar
- Click the First Due logo.
- Select Scheduling.
- Click My Shifts.
Marking Unavailable
- Select a date on the calendar.
- Choose a start and end time for your unavailability.
- Save the selection.
- A red box appears on the calendar indicating unavailability.
- By default, users are available until they mark themselves unavailable.
Marking Available for Assignment
- This setting keeps you available at all times and does not allow you to mark yourself unavailable.
- Select a future date.
- Choose the assignments you prefer to be available for.
- Adjust the start and end time as needed.
- Save your selection.
- Assignment-based availability is a preference and not a guarantee.
Marking as Available
- You are unavailable at all times until you mark yourself available.
- Select a future date.
- Set yourself available for a specific time period.
Apply Availability to Multiple Dates
- Select the Multiple Selection option.
- Choose multiple dates.
- Click Done.
- Mark yourself available, unavailable, or available based on assignment for all selected dates.
Remove Availability
- Hover over an available date.
- Click the X that appears.
- Availability can only be removed one day at a time.
- Multiple-day deletion is not supported.
