New Features

1. Action Training Systems
  1. What: Improved management and organization of Action Training Systems content.
  2. Why: Action Training System E-Learning Objectives will automatically create a Course
  3. How: Training>Setup>Objectives
  4. Use Case: Departments will be able to download desired E-Learning objectives provided by ATS and utilize the content in a Course.
2. Notification System Configuration
  1. What: A comprehensive notification configuration system for training administrators.
  2. Why: Dedicated notification section.
  3. How: Training > Setup > Notifications
  4. Use Case: Establish notifications for Training all in one area.

3. Commision on Accreditation for Pre-Hospital Continuing Education (CAPCE) Certification Enhancements
  1. What: When launching an EMS course from Action Training Systems, users see a disclaimer explaining CAPCE accreditation.
  2. Why: Improved CAPCE certification process and access control for certificates. 
  3. How: Training > Dashboard > Assigned Courses
  4. Use Case: Users will see disclaimer when they begin self-complete class.


Feature Enhancements

1. Added "Use Course" button to Assigned Courses within Dashboard
  1. What: Ability to Use Course on any assigned course to begin training directly from Dashboard
  2. Why: Allows users with assigned Courses to access and complete assigned Courses.
  3. How: Training > Dashboard > Assigned Courses
  4. Use Case: Users can access and complete assigned courses. 

2. Enhanced Certification Management & Filters
  1. What: Improvements to certification management and filtering capabilities.
  2. Why: Better visualization of requirements.
  3. How: Training > Manage Certifications
  4. Use Case: Progress bars only appear for certifications "In Progress" state.
3. Administration and Permission Improvements
  1. What: Streamlined permission and improved administrative capabilities.
  2. Why: To make Training management more intuitive. 
  3. How: Training > Dashboard > Assigned Courses
  4. Use Case: Users no longer need "edit permission" to self-complete a class. Ability to unarchive previously archived training methods. Replaced "add objective" button with an inline multiselect dropdown.
  5. Permissions: Users will only need "read dashboard" permission to view and complete assigned classes
4. Training Hours and Payroll Compliance
  1. What: New capabilities to adjust training hours for payroll purposes.
  2. Why: To give Administrators more functionality in being able to adjust training hours for payroll purposes. 
  3. How: Training > Training Classes
  4. Use Case: Modify Training Records independently from actual class duration.
5. Integration Enhancements
  1. What: Multiple improvements to system integrations.
  2. Why: To focus on data accuracy and terminology adjustments.
  3. How: Training > Dashboard > Assigned Courses
  4. Use Case: Unique identifiers, filtering by department and updated "state" reference to "province" for Canadian clients.
