Community Connect - When Users Are Unable to Register an Address

Purpose

  1. This article will explain what to do if users encounter the inability to register their address.


Background

  1. Typically when users are unable to register an address it is caused by the prior resident of the address having an active account.  When this happens the user will receive the following message:  




Directions

  1. Navigate to Community Connect > Users.






  2. Locate the account by searching the property Address.






  3.  After verifying it is the proper address, delete the previous account by selecting the  icon.  

    Verification is a necessary step prior to deleting an account.  Accounts CAN NOT be recovered once deleted.
    Agencies are encouraged to develop their own internal policies regarding address verification.
