What — Fire Prevention administrators now have access to a more complete set of Occupancy data fields when configuring Invoice Line Item Criteria. This expansion applies across all associated actions, including Complete Inspection, Complete Hydrant Service, and Billing Program workflows.
Why — Previously, key Occupancy fields were missing from the criteria configuration, limiting the ability to build fully accurate and automated invoice rules. This enhancement ensures administrators have the complete data set needed to support precise, automated billing logic.
How
- This enhancement adds previously unavailable Occupancy fields to the Invoice Line Item Criteria configuration across multiple action types
- Navigate to Fire Prevention and open the Billing Automation Manager (BAM)
- Access Invoice Line Item Criteria for the relevant action: Complete Inspection, Complete Hydrant Service, or Billing Program
- When defining or editing criteria rules, locate the expanded list of available Occupancy data fields
- Select the applicable Occupancy fields to build your desired invoice line item rule
- Save and validate the criteria to confirm the rule behaves as expected
Use Case
- An administrator setting up automated billing for inspections can now include additional occupancy-specific details in the criteria, ensuring the correct invoice line items are applied without manual intervention.
- A user configuring hydrant service billing can leverage newly available occupancy fields to differentiate invoice rules based on property characteristics.
- An administrator managing a billing program can build more complete and accurate automated rules without workarounds caused by missing occupancy data.
