Step-by-Step Guide
1. Click on the First Due logo.
Select the First Due logo in the upper-left corner to open the module stack.
2. Navigate to Events & Activities, then select Daily Operations.
From the module list, click Events & Activities, then choose Daily Operations from the left-side navigation menu.

3. Select Daily View.
At the top of the Daily Operations page, click Daily View to display activities for a single date.

4. Use the left and right arrow icons to move backward or forward by one day.
Click the left or right arrows near the displayed date to navigate one day at a time.
The currently selected date will appear highlighted (manila-colored background) for easy identification.

5. To adjust the date, use either the dropdown Calendar at the top or the Calendar on the right-hand side to navigate to your desired date.
Use the top date selector dropdown or the right-side mini calendar to jump directly to a specific date without navigating day-by-day.

6. Filter all applicable Modules to display.
Use the module filter options to select which modules (Training, Inspections, Maintenance, Events, etc.) should appear in the Daily View. This allows you to focus on relevant operational areas.

7. To print the Daily View, select the Printer icon.
Click the Printer icon within the Daily View to open the print configuration window.

8. Check all applicable Modules, then click Print.
In the print dialog, select the modules you want included in the report, then click Print to generate a printable version of the daily schedule.

9. To add an Event, select Create New Event or Add From Template.
Within the Daily View interface, choose Create New Event to build an event manually, or Add From Template to quickly insert a pre-configured activity.

10. To view existing Events, select it from either list.
Click on any listed activity within the Daily View to open its detailed record.

11. After selecting, you will be taken to the Event in that Module.
Once selected, the system redirects you to the event’s originating module (e.g., Training, Inspections, Maintenance), where you can view or edit details based on your permissions.

12. Use the Today button to navigate back to the current day.
Users can use the Today button if they have advanced to another day on the Events Daily View. This will take the user back to the current day.
Best Practices
Use Templates for Efficiency
Create templates for frequently repeated activities to streamline scheduling and maintain consistency.
Filter Strategically
Select only the modules relevant to your operational focus to reduce screen clutter and improve clarity.
Print at Shift Start
Many departments print the Daily View at the beginning of each shift for crew briefings and accountability.
Verify Permissions
If expected activities do not appear, confirm the user has appropriate module-specific view permissions.
Refresh After Updates
After making changes within a related module, refresh the Daily View to ensure the most current data is displayed.
