Purpose Statement
The Event Types area allows administrators to create and manage subcategories used to classify events within the Events & Activities Module. Event Types help standardize data entry, improve reporting accuracy, and ensure consistent categorization of activities across the department.
Background Information
Event Types function as subcategories within the Events & Activities Module and may be associated with a single Program. While Programs serve as overarching categories, Event Types define the specific type of activity being documented.
Examples:
Program: Training
Event Types: Live Burn, EMS Continuing Education, Officer Development
Program: Community Risk Reduction
Event Types: School Visit, Station Tour, Public Education Session
Event Types are displayed in a sortable table, allowing administrators to quickly locate, edit, or archive entries.
