Purpose Statement
This article explains how to access and manage Outside Resources within the First Due iOS Mobile Response App. Outside Resources provide quick access to websites and documents that support departmental operations and individual response needs.
Background Information
Outside Resources are web links or document links available directly within the First Due mobile app. These resources may include department-wide references such as SOPs, burn rules, or policies, as well as user-specific resources relevant to an individual’s response area or assignment.
Outside Resources are divided into two categories:
Resources – Managed by an administrator and shared with all users
My Resources – Created and managed by the individual user on their own device
This separation ensures consistent access to official department materials while allowing flexibility for personal or unit-specific references.
