Training Module Setup: Adding a Standard

Purpose

  1. To explain how to add a Standard within the Standards Section of the Training Module Setup.
TIP:  Standards can be associated with objectives to track compliance and/or performance expectations within an organization. 

Examples of Standards include:
  1. ISO Standards
    1. ISO 580.B Company Training Program
  2. NFPA Standards
    1. NFPA 1001 (Fire Fighter Professional Qualifications)- 4.3.6 Ground Ladders
  3. NREMT
    1. Paramedic Recertification -  Medical (6 hours)
  4. State Standards
  5. Regional Standards
  6. Agency Standards

Navigation

  1. Navigate to Training > Setup > Standards.




  2. Select Add Standard.




  3. Enter the following fields
    1. Standard Set (required)
    2. Enter the Standard Code (required)
    3. Enter the Standard Title (required)
    4. Enter the Standard Description

  4. Select Create. That's it...nice job!




  5. In the Actions column you can editor archivea Standard.

    NOTE: Standards in use (assigned to class) cannot be deleted.




  6. Additionally, you can view archived Training Standards by selecting the Archived tab.




  7. By checking one or more boxes in the leftmost column, you can bulk archive Training Standards.
