  • Consider your personnel's preference for immediate versus consolidated communications
  • Monitor notification effectiveness and adjust frequency based on response rates and feedback

Implementation Considerations

  • Communicate the Job Board availability to all personnel when first enabling the feature
  • Provide training on how to access and use the Job Board for viewing and applying to postings
  • Establish clear policies for job posting criteria and application processes
  • Ensure personnel understand the difference between Job Board postings and traditional call shifts

Ongoing Management

  • Regularly review notification settings to ensure they remain effective for your department
  • Monitor Job Board usage and posting fill rates to assess feature effectiveness
  • Gather feedback from personnel on Job Board functionality and notification preferences
  • Keep posting content clear and informative to maximize application rates

Common Mistakes to Avoid

  • Don't enable notifications without first communicating the change to personnel
  • Avoid setting notification frequency that doesn't match your actual posting patterns
  • Don't forget to save configuration changes before exiting the setup area
  • Ensure Job Board policies align with existing shift assignment and overtime procedures
