Posting to the Job Board

Purpose Statement

  • Create and publish shift vacancies and assignments to the Job Board, where personnel can view and apply for available opportunities within the scheduling system

Background Information

  • Posting to the Job Board allows administrators to make shift openings visible to all eligible personnel who can then proactively apply for positions
  • This feature is particularly useful for non-urgent shift coverage, special assignments, training opportunities, and positions that benefit from having multiple applicants
  • Job Board postings differ from traditional call shifts by allowing personnel to browse available opportunities and self-select rather than being contacted directly
  • The system maintains all posting details, application tracking, and selection history for administrative oversight and record-keeping
