New Features

  • Responder Station View Enhancement - Board Buildout

    • What: Added a new Station View page below the Responder View when station view is enabled, providing quick, essential dispatch information for First Responders
    • Why: Provides fast, clear incident details for responders before leaving the station with streamlined access to critical information
    • How: New Station View page is activated by feature toggle under Responder module
    • Use Case: When responders need to quickly review incident details and current assignments before departing the station for emergency response

Feature Enhancements

  • Responder Station View Logic Enhancement

    • What: Updated Station View to respect existing auto-incident rotation settings and fully replace the old station view UI
    • Why: Eliminates duplicate views and ensures station view honors configured rotation settings for consistent user experience
    • How: When station view is enabled, the new view activates automatically based on incident rotation settings
    • Use Case: When stations have specific incident rotation configurations that need to be maintained in the station view display

  1. Responder Station View Map Replaced with Preplans Map
    1. What: Updated the Station View map to use the Preplans map instead of the default Google Map, displaying unit-level preplan information directly on the board
    2. Why: Provides enhanced context for responders by showing preplan data relevant to active incidents and improving situational awareness
    3. How: Go to new Station View UI where the Preplans map automatically replaces the previous Google Map with unit-specific preplan data
    4. Use Case: When responders at the station need to quickly review preplan information for buildings and locations in their response area before departing for calls

Fixes

  • Responder Closed Dispatches No Longer Displayed in Responder View - Fixed issue where closed dispatches were appearing in the Responder View, causing confusion and clutter for end users. Only active (open) dispatches are now visible in the Responder View, with closed dispatches excluded entirely to improve clarity and usability for emergency responders.
