New Features
- What: Comprehensive station dashboard improvements including real-time weather data, unit tracking, status formatting, incident narrative display, and dispatch filtering
- Why: Provides first responders with critical environmental and tactical information for improved response strategy and situational awareness
- How: Weather updates every 30 minutes with temperature, wind, and forecast data; unit tracking matches responder map behavior; filtered dispatch list based on notification configuration
- Use Case: Station personnel can assess weather conditions affecting response safety, track unit locations on incident maps, and focus on relevant incidents for their coverage area

Station View Pre-Plan Map Display
- What: A dedicated "Station View" page under Responder Module that displays the Pre-Plan Map instead of the dispatch location map
- Why: Allows First Responders to access critical pre-response information before departure, enabling faster and better-informed decision-making
- How: Access through Responder Module (located below "Responder View"). The feature is automatically available once deployed
- Use Case: Fire and EMS personnel can review essential station and response area information while still at the station, improving preparation time and response effectiveness
Feature Enhancements
Station View Roster Integration
- What: Embedded Roster View from Scheduling within Station View for personnel availability tracking
- Why: Provides immediate visibility of staff availability without navigating between modules
- How: Automatically displayed when accessing Station View - no additional configuration needed
- Use Case: Station officers can quickly assess personnel availability when planning response or station operations
Improved Station View Data Display
- What: Replaces continuous loading indicators with clear "No information available" messaging when data is unavailable
- Why: Eliminates user confusion and provides a more professional interface during idle periods
- How: Automatically displays when widgets have no data to show
- Use Case: Personnel using Station View during quiet periods will no longer see indefinite loading screens
Fixes
- Responder Base Map Layer Persistence
- Custom and added base map layers now persist after page refresh, extending existing sticky behavior to non-default layers for consistent user experience
- Responder Hydrant Proximity Query Performance
- Resolved SQL timeout errors in spatial queries retrieving closest hydrants by adding spatial indexing and query optimization, reducing response time to under 3 seconds
- Command Assignment Board Mobile Interface
- Fixed clipped Edit action buttons and enabled vertical scrolling on mobile devices for full access to assignment management functionality
- Command Divisions Menu Dropdown Functionality
- Restored complete dropdown menu interactivity including search, navigation, and selection capabilities across all supported browsers and devices
- Dispatch Notification Type Configuration
- Enabled notification as valid dispatch type ensuring incident numbers display correctly when "Create NFIRS Notification" is enabled with proper permissions
- Messaging User Access Permissions
- Restored ability for users with only "Access Messaging" permission to view and reply to messages without requiring "View Message History" permission, maintaining appropriate access scope
