Directions

Idea
It is recommended that a unique account be created for each station or location that requires a station view. Additionally, a unique role with specific permissions can be created for these types of accounts to ensure that the account won’t be utilized in any other capacity within the First Due System.

1. Go to: Response > Responder Setup > Station View

2. From Station View menu, select "Enable station view in responder".

3. There are Two (2) options for Station View
  1. Auto-rotate through incidents - This selection begins at the incident list and then displays the most recent incident information in the appropriate windows.  After 15 seconds,  it proceeds to display the next most current incident.  If a new incident comes in, the system will display that incident and associated information.

  2. Always display most recent incident - This selection begins at the incident list and then displays the most recent incident information in the appropriate windows.   This display will maintain in place until a new incident comes in.  At that point, the new incident details will display.

Notes
NOTE: Station View only displays the Dispatch Units and Dispatch Incident Types that the user has specified in their Notifications settings.

4. Go to: Response > Station View

5. The sections of the Station View are:

A. Preplan Dashboard - A summary of the structure involved in the currently displayed incident.
B. Latest Incidents - The list of current incidents.  There is a blue box around the incident that is being displayed.
C. Local Time - The current time.
D. Time since incident started - Time elapsed since the currently displayed incident started.
E. Map On Incident - A map of the structure or location of the currently displayed incident.
F. Incident Details - Call notes from the currently displayed incident.
G. Status Log Units - Status' of users for the currently displayed incident. Only in accounts with Firefighter Statusing active.
H. Units - Units involved in the currently displayed incident.
I. Schedule - A scrolling version of the Shift Board from the Scheduling Module.
