Release Notes - Medication Module

Info
In order to provide you with more detailed information on our updates we have broken the Release Notes down by module.

New Features

1.  Remove Actions in the Full Page view.

What:   Changed the Remove Modal to a full page in the Med Kits and Med Supply options and added the attachment button.
Why:  To give better viewing capabilities and future enhancements.
How:
  1. When documenting medication removals now instead of a modal you will access the full screen view.
  2. When adding attachments:
    1. The system only allows a maximum 5 files.
    2. Files can only be PDF, JPG or PNG format.
    3. Each attachment can only be up to 15 MB.
    4. It is not allowed to attach a document that has been previously uploaded.

Enhancements

1.  Duplicated serial numbers.

What:  Implemented a visualization highlight for duplicate serial numbers during medication receiving process.
How:
  1. The system validates and displays a message when entering a serial number already in the database.
  2. The system validates and displays a message when the serial number is already being used in the same “Receive” form
  3. The system handles concurrency correctly: if a user remains in the “Receive” tab with a serial number already signed but not saved, and another user completes the receive process using that same serial number, the system prevents the first user from saving the record and displays an error message.
  4. The system considers serial numbers as case insensitive. It does not distinguish between uppercase and lowercase letters when validating.

2. Update to Med Kits and Serial Numbers.

What:  Implemented alphanumeric sorting for Med Kits and serial number drop-down in the transfer medications.
Why:  To reduce errors by easily finding Med Kits and serial numbers they need.
How:  The Med Kits will display alphanumeric and when transferring medication that has serial numbers they will be displayed alphanumerically.

3.  New Medications added.

What:  The following medications have been added to the medication list:
  1. Calcium Gluconate
  2. Potassium Iodide
  3. Clopidogrel
How:   Add the medication within the Medication setup to begin utilizing the medication within your agency.
