Release Notes - Command Module (May 2025)

In order to provide you with more detailed information on our updates we have broken the Release Notes down by module. 




New Features

CAD Incident Numbers now displayed on Command Board
  1. What:  CAD incident numbers are now displayed on the incident Command Board in the expanded Incident Information screen.
  2. Why: Allows Command Board users to readily identify the CAD Incident number within the Command Board.
  3. How:  This New Feature live and is only visible to clients who have values within the CAD Incident ID column being imported into First Due from their CAD. For additional information please contact your Customer Success Manager.




Feature Enhancements

MAYDAY Checklist Organization
  1. What: Improved Mayday checklist functionality with item ordering capabilities to ensure critical tasks appear in the correct sequence during emergency situations.
  2. Why:  This Feature Enhancement now enables agencies to organize and prioritize the order that  MAYDAY Checklist items will appear within the MAYDAY Checklist on the Command Board. This provides for greater granularity in Fire Ground operations and the Command board Functionality.
  3. How: This Feature Enhancement is live and agencies will need to navigate to Command Setup>MAYDAY Checklist. Once all MAYDAY Checklist items are entered, select ORDER MAYDAY CHECKLIST ITEM(S) and then drag and drop the various MAYDAY Checklist items in to the desired order.




MAYDAY--Unit addition via Drag & Drop
  1. What: Improved Mayday functionality with the addition of the ability to add a unit to the MAYDAY section via Drag & Drop.
  2. Why:  This Feature Enhancement now enables agencies to add units to an established MAYDAY without starting the MAYDAY operation over. This provides for greater granularity in Fire Ground operations and the Command board Functionality.
  3. How: This Feature Enhancement is live. No additional action is required.




Fixes

Command Board--Resolved inconsistent styling
  1. What: Standardized Fonts, spacing and colors across the Command Module as well as aligned button sizes, tab headers and section layouts for improved visual consistency and a cleaner User Interface experience.
  2. Why:  Addressed various styling inconsistencies across the Incident Command module to ensure a uniform and polished appearance and improve the Command board functionality.
  3. How: This Feature Enhancement is live. No additional action is required.
