Inventory Usage and Restock - Request Feature

Purpose

  1. The purpose of this article is to demonstrate how to utilize the Request feature within Inventory Usage and Restock for Apparatus, Stations and Kits.

Although this article demonstrates the process with an Apparatus, the same steps apply to Stations and Kits.

1. Click on the applicable checks view in the Assets module that the request will be for

2. Select the specific Apparatus, Station or Kit

3. Selecting the Request button in Inventory Usage and Restock without any inventory items checked will open a blank request to be filled out.

When multiple inventory items are on the list and ONE item is selected, the Request button will be active

5. A request form for the Apparatus, Station or Kit will open. Users will need to fill out the required fields on the first page of the request.

The inventory tab will have the Inventory Item, Location Needed and Quantity will already be filled out with the information from the Inventory Usage and Restock List.

6. Click on Save


Click on Save



A system alert will appear if there is a pending request for the same inventory item and location. Selecting Continue will create a separate request not associated with the pending action.

7. The item will now show that it has been requested with a link to the request order

The item will remain in the list after it has been fulfilled. The item will be removed from the list after the request has been closed.
