The Inspections Map provides a visual, geographic representation of all scheduled, in-progress, and completed inspections within your jurisdiction. This interactive mapping tool allows fire prevention officers and inspection personnel to efficiently navigate between inspection locations, view inspection statuses at a glance, and optimize routing for field operations. The map integrates seamlessly with the inspection workflow, enabling users to start, continue, and review inspections directly from the geographic interface.

Required Permissions

Users must have the following permissions to access and utilize the Inspections Map:

  • Inspections - View: Required to view inspection data on the map
  • Inspections - Edit: Required to start, continue, or modify inspection status
  • Inspections Map - Access: Required to access the map interface
  • Location Services: Browser location permissions for "Center to Current Position" functionality
  • Team Assignment: Users viewing "My Inspections" will only see inspections assigned to them or their assigned teams
