- Review the quiz carefully before editing to confirm you are modifying the correct record.
- When using free-text questions, account for the additional administrative work required for manual grading.
Troubleshooting & FAQs
Why does a quiz appear in Pending Grading?
The quiz contains one or more responses that require manual evaluation. For example, a free-text response cannot be automatically graded and must be reviewed by an authorized user.
Why don't I see an option to edit, clone, archive, or grade a quiz?
Your assigned Training/LMS permissions may not provide access to that function. Contact your agency administrator to review your role and permissions.
What is the difference between View and Edit?
View allows you to review quiz content without making changes. The Pencil icon opens the quiz with editing functionality for authorized users.
Can I use an existing quiz as the starting point for a new quiz?
Yes. Use the Clone option to copy the existing quiz, make the necessary changes, and rename the new quiz.
How do I restore an archived quiz?
Locate the quiz in Archive status and select the Unarchive icon in the Actions column.
Where can I see quizzes learners have already completed?
Use the Attempt History section to review previous quiz attempts, including grading status, score, and learner result.
Can I open an individual learner's completed quiz?
Yes. Select the View icon in the Actions column for the applicable attempt to open the learner's quiz.
Does every quiz require manual grading?
No. Manual grading is required only when the quiz contains response types that require evaluation by a user, such as free-text responses.
