Apparatus Type Display in Events and Activities
- What - A new Apparatus Type setup option has been added to Events and Activities, allowing configured apparatus or dispatch unit classifications to appear alongside the dispatch unit name for Agencies using the full functionality of the Apparatus Booking feature.
- Why - This enhancement improves visibility into equipment classifications during event and activity management, helping users evaluate apparatus coverage while maintaining consistency with apparatus type values configured in Assets (if enabled).

How
- Navigate to Setup → General.
- Locate the Apparatus Type option.
- Toggle Apparatus Type ON to display the dispatch unit name combined with its configured type value.
- Toggle Apparatus Type OFF to retain the existing display behavior without the type value.
- The displayed type values are based on the customized Apparatus Type configuration associated with the apparatus or dispatch unit.
- Use Case - When reviewing apparatus assigned to an event or activity, a user can enable Apparatus Type to distinguish between apparatus types directly in the apparatus area, making it easier to assess whether appropriate equipment coverage is available.
