Required Permissions
To update burn permit expiration dates, users should have:
- Community Connect administrative access
- Permissions to view and edit permit types
- Access to Historic Permits management

Step-by-Step Guide
- Access Historic Permits
- Navigate to the First Due menu/logo.
Select Historic Permits.
Select Permit Type
Click on Permit Type to locate the specific burn permit you need to update.
- Select the Permit to Edit
- Find the correct permit type in the list.
- Click the Edit (pencil icon) on the right-hand side under the Actions column
4. Update Expiration Date
- On the Update Permit Type page, scroll down to locate the Permit Expired field.
- Adjust the expiration date and month as needed.
5. Save Changes
- Scroll to the bottom of the page.
- Click Save to apply the updates.
