Purpose
- To explain the Payroll Summary Report for the Scheduling module.
How is this report helpful?
- This report can be used for organizations that provide payroll summaries for input into payroll systems.
- This report will give you a summary of hours worked and time off taken by all personnel.
- This report can be run each pay period and given to the payroll personnel for their use.
- This report can be used internally for verifying accuracy of payroll data.

Instructions
- Navigate to Reports Scheduling Reports.
- Select Payroll Summary from the dropdown menu.
- The default setting for the Date Interval is 30 days. Select Advanced Search to change the date interval.
- Once you have set your parameters, the report displays a summary of everyone's Hours Worked for each Short Code, it's Description, and any Notes added. Time Off entries display with a Short Code, it's Description and any Notes added. The report displays in a table format.
- Each field from the table populates from the Scheduling Module. See below for specific locations.
- Hours - This is calculated based on personnel on the daily Shift Board. You can access this by navigating to Personnel Shifts Board.
- Short Code - This information is pulled from Work Types (Personnel Set Up Work Type Edit Work Type Shortcode).
- Sub Type - This information is pulled from Work Types (Personnel Set Up Work Type Edit Work Type Add Subtype).
- Description - This information is populated with the name of the Work Type (Personnel Set Up Work Types Add Work Type).
- Notes - This information pulls from the Notes section on the Daily Roster (Personnel Shift Board Edit Personnel Notes).
- Hours - This is calculated based on personnel on the daily Shift Board. You can access this by navigating to Personnel Shifts Board.
- Payroll Summary Reports can be downloaded in 2 different formats. A PDF file and an Excel xlsx file. If you hover over the icons at the bottom of the report it will let you know which icon corresponds to which file format.
