New Features

  • Activities Log iCal Export

    • What: Export filtered activities from Events + Activities to external calendars via iCal links
    • Why: Enables seamless calendar integration allowing personnel to view training activities alongside personal schedules in Google Calendar, Outlook, and other calendar applications
    • How: Navigate to Events + Activities > Activities Log > Calendar, click the export icon to generate an iCal link, then copy and add to your external calendar
    • Use Case: Fire/EMS personnel can maintain unified schedules by syncing training activities with their personal calendars, ensuring they never miss mandatory training sessions or drills



  • Certification Downloads and Issue Date Tracking

    • What: Users can download their certifications and view issue dates directly from the My Active Certifications section in Dashboard.
    • Why: Provides personnel with easy access to their certification documents and historical tracking for compliance and record-keeping.
    • How: Navigate to My Active Certifications and click the download button next to any certification.
    • Use Case: Fire and EMS personnel need to provide certification proof for continuing education, compliance audits, or job applications.




Feature Enhancements

  • CTOs and Standards Import Wizard

    • What: Enhanced import wizard now supports Categories, Topics, Objectives, and Standards in a single unified process
    • Why: Streamlines training hierarchy setup by eliminating multiple import sessions and reduces administrative time for training coordinators
    • How: Access the renamed "Training CTOS Import Wizard" and upload CSV files with expanded column options including Objective Description, Code, Set, and Title
    • Use Case: Training administrators can efficiently establish complete training structures when implementing new certification programs or updating existing curricula




  • Course ID in Print Class Reports

    • What: State Course ID and Internal Course ID now included in printed class reports
    • Why: Meets state reporting requirements and provides complete documentation for compliance audits
    • How: Automatically included when generating printed class reports
    • Use Case: Fire/EMS departments in states like NY and ME can ensure compliance with state training documentation requirements




  • Multi-Day Class Location Selection

    • What: Support for different locations for each day of multi-day training classes.
    • Why: Accommodates complex training scenarios where different days require different venues or facilities.
    • How: Enable multi-day toggle when creating training classes, then select specific locations for each training day.
    • Use Case: Training programs spanning multiple days at different fire stations, training facilities, or external venues.




  • Global E-Learning Content Provider Identification

    • What: Clear identification of third-party content providers for all imported e-learning materials.
    • Why: Helps users distinguish between internal department content and external training providers for better course selection.
    • How: Provider names automatically display with imported content (e.g., "Action Training Systems - EMS").
    • Use Case: Training officers selecting courses need to identify content sources for compliance and quality assurance.





Fixes

  • Program Event Type Selection
    • Resolved issue where selecting "Select All" in Event Type dropdown resulted in blank lists when managing programs, ensuring proper program configuration
  • Multi-Day Class Field Validation 
    • Fixed validation for required "Apparatus" and "Assets" fields in Multi-Day Class submissions, preventing incomplete class setups that could impact resource allocation
  • Training List Performance 
    • Eliminated timeout issues when loading large Training Class datasets, allowing departments with extensive training histories to access all records efficiently
  • Global Objectives Display Logic
    • Corrected display to show Global Objectives only under "Linked Objectives" section, preventing confusion in objective management and reporting
  • Activity Log Calendar Navigation Correction
    • Fixed navigation issue where clicking eyeball icon on work shifts redirected to current date instead of the selected date. Users can now properly navigate to specific dates when viewing work shifts in the Activity Log Calendar.
  • CTO Import Wizard Parameter Update
    • Updated Category, Topic, and Objective Import Wizard to include recent platform parameter changes. This resolved UI errors that occurred during the import process while maintaining full upload functionality.
  • Enhanced Category, Topic, and Objective Selection Logic
    • Fixed overly restrictive selection behavior when "Limit Category, Topic, and Objective selections to associations only" was enabled. System now displays all objectives associated with either the selected category OR topic, providing expanded but relevant options.
