Release Notes - Response Module

Info
In order to provide you with more detailed information on our updates we have broken the Release Notes down by module.

New Features

Web Responder: Display Stored ETA Information in Status Log
  1. What: When a Firefighter or Unit uses the "To Scene"  Status Button, their ETA to the Scene will be calculated and then displayed in the Status Log based on their En Route Time. This time is static and will not update or change as the Firefighter or Unit responds to the Scene. Previously no time was being displayed.

  2. Why: This New Feature now enables other units and responders to see the ETA for Firefighters and/or units that are responding to the scene.

  3. How: This New Feature is already live in the production environment. No action is needed by the client

  4. Use Case: If a department is utilizing Firefighter or Unit Status buttons, an ETA can now be seen for each specific unit based on their location by all other responders within the status log of the incident details. This will provide for increased Firefighter/Unit accountability.

Feature Enhancements

Web Responder: Fetch Last Dispatch by 72 Hours
  1. What: When Web Responder view is selected, only the dispatches from the last 72 hours are retrieved for display within the incident list.

  2. Why: Previously, dispatches from the last 14 days were retrieved when the Web Responder View was initiated causing unnecessary data load and affecting performance of Web Responder. Fetching only the last 72 hours,  will greatly improve loading times, performance and reliability of the Web Responder.

  3. How: This Enhancement is already live in the production environment. No action is needed by the client.

  4. Use Case: This enhancement will increased performance and reliability when using Web responder and prevent any unnecessary delays or errors when loading the incident list.

Fixes

Web Responder: Status Log now able to expand into main Responder View Window.
  1. What: Within the Incident window in Web Responder, the Status Log Expand button did not enlarge the Status Log into the main window of the Responder View for easier viewing. The Expand functionality for the Status log now works as designed.

  2. How:  This fix is already live in the production environment. No action is needed by the client.

  3. Use Case: This now allows the Status Log to be expanded into a larger window in the Responder View for easier viewing.
