Release Notes - Response Module

Info
In order to provide you with more detailed information on our updates we have broken the Release Notes down by module.

Summary video coming after the end of the month.

New Features

Web Responder: Nearest hydrant
  1. What: The ability to see the nearest (by direct distance) hydrants to an incident location through the Web Responder.  This displays the clients own or data shared hydrants.

  2. Why: One of the most critical items for an Engine Company responding to a fire is water supply. This feature makes hydrant selection more convenient.

  3. How: After selecting an incident, scroll down below the building story and, under the Hydrants heading, the closest 5 hydrants will display along with the distance from the incident icon. Selecting a hydrant in this list will open that hydrants details and populate a red circle and a "bouncing point icon" at the hydrant location on the map to draw your attention.

Web Responder: Clear Status Button
  1. What: In the effort to have functional parity between Mobile and Web Responder, the Clear Status was added.
  1. Why: Users needed a way to "clear" their status in First Due in the cases of mis-statusing.  This button takes care of that!
  1. How: Users simply select "Clear Status" as indicated below.

Feature Enhancements

Web Responder: Routing
  1. What: From the Calculated Route sidebar, users can now select the left arrow to return to the incident sidebar.

  2. Why: This enhancement reduces the number of steps the user needs to perform to get back to the incident sidebar from the Routing sidebar.

  3. How: Simply select the left arrow as indicated below to return to the incident information window.
