New Features
Client Data Sharing - Permits
- What: Allow enabling user-specific sharing of permit data with partners (users from different departments) using a structured interface, so that individual users can collaborate effectively on permit-related workflows while maintaining controlled access.
- Why: Allows clients to collaborate on permits with local partners.
- How: In the Admin Module, navigate to User Data Sharing, add a user (by name) and provide the view only permission for Permits.

Clone a Permit Type
- What: Created the ability to clone an
existing permit type within a site.
- Why: Permit types often share similar
configurations, such as custom data fields, workflows, forms, and automation
settings. Manually recreating each variation can be time-consuming and error
prone. Allowing users to clone an existing permit type will significantly
reduce setup time, improve accuracy, and ensure internal consistency—especially
when multiple types differ by only a few settings.
- How: On the Permit Type page, select Clone Permit in the Actions Column. Rename the Permit Type and then Save.
- Use Case: Saves time and ensures consistency—especially when custom
data fields, workflows, email setups, automation settings, forms, and Community
Connect options need to be reused across permit types.
