In order to provide you with more detailed information on our updates we have broken the Release Notes down by module. 




New Features

Import NFIRS data to a Fire Investigation

  1. What: User can import data to the Fire Investigations Form from a NFIRS Incident Report.

  2. Why: To allow a user to import certain NFIRS data to reduce duplication of data entry.

  3. How: After creating a new Fire Investigation the user will select Import NFIRS data, select the Report to import, review the fields to import removing fields not needing import, then "Update."

  4. Use Case: User can import data into the following fields reducing duplication of effort: Address Line #1 & #2, City, State, Zip Code, GPS Coordinates, Property & Contents Values, Property and Content Loss Values, Area of Fire Origin, Floor of Origin, Weather (Temp, Humidity & Weather Type), Involved Person.
