Release Notes - Activities Module

New Enhancements

1. Daily Log in List View

  1. What: Ability to track Assets utilized during Training Classes utilizing the Asset dropdown during Class creation
  2. Why: To allow users to efficiently navigate Daily Log
  3. How: Activities > Daily Log 
  4. Use Case: Users can view Daily Log entries in List View




2.  Time Field Format

  1. ​What: Time field now displays in the format "3:53 pm 1/23/2025"
  2. Why: For easier readability
  3. How: Activities > Daily Log 
  4. Use Case: Date and Time are now located in same field for easier readability

3. "Add Daily Log" button


  1.  What: "+ Add" button has been renamed to "Add Daily Log" 

  1. Why: To provide clearer functionality

  1. How: Activities > Daily Log> Add Daily Log

  1. Use Case: Click on "Add Daily Log" button to add new log entries



4. Log entry action icons: edit, view, delete

 

  1. What: Each log entry will have its own action buttons which include: View, Edit and Delete options 
  2. Why: To give users ability to manage log entries from a single point
  3. How: Activities > Daily Log
  4. Use Case: Users will be able to manage log entries directly from Daily Log

5. Daily Log - All users Permissions

  1. What: Regular Users will only be able to edit and delete their own log entries. Users cannot make changes to or delete log entries created by others.
  2. Why: Permission Edit Daily Log - All users (Users with this access can edit and delete log entries for any user)
  3. How: Activities > Daily Log

  1. Use Case: Permission can be granted only to those individuals that should have the access the edit all log entries

6. Integration of Daily Log Entries into Activity Log View

  1. What: Users will not be able to view Daily Log entries within Activity Log (Daily, List and Calendar tabs)

  1. Why: To give users the ability to view all Activities in one central location

  1. How: Activities > Activities Log

  1. Use Case: Users can now view all Daily Log entries directly in the Activities Log with filtering capabilities
