In order to provide you with more detailed information on our updates, we have broken the Release Notes down by module.
Feature Enhancements
Cloning of Vacation Bids
What: You can now clone vacation bids.
Why: This was done to improve your experience with the Scheduling Module by allowing you to clone Vacation Bids instead of creating them from scratch.
How: Navigate to Time Off > Vacation Bid. Next, click on the three vertical dots and select Clone. The clone will pull the following information over to the new Vacation Bid:
Time off Type and List Order
Rounds and Days to Bid settings
Time off per day Limit
Bid timing (start/end dates and times)
Allotted Time configuration
Calling Period settings (From, To, Days)
Black Out Dates
All auction Settings
Use Case: This allows you to create one Vacation Bid and use it as a master that you can copy for future Vacation Bids.
Resubmit Time Off
What: We added the ability to resubmit time-off requests.
Why: This was done per the request of a department.
How:
To enable this feature, navigate to Scheduling > Setup > Time Off Settings and toggle on Resubmit Time Off.
To resubmit time off, navigate to Scheduling > Time Off > My Time Off and select a date in the future. You will see a calendar icon next to the eye; click it. This will bring up the modal to allow you to resubmit the time off for a different day.
Use Case: I, as an end user, submitted a time off request for a specific date, but my plans have changed. This allows me to resubmit to match my new plans.
Shiftboard - Right Click to jump to User Calendar
What: We added the ability to jump to a user's My Shift Calendar via the right-click modal on the Shift Board.
Why: This was done per the request of a department.
How:
Users must have Access My Shifts to view their calendar via this method.
Those who will be viewing all users' calendars will need My Shifts - View All Users.
From the Shift Board, when you right-click on a user, you will see at the bottom that goes to the User Calendar.
Use Case: If I need to access my calendar or other users' calendars, this method allows for rapid navigation.
Rapid Recall - Override Logic for Assigned Shift Overlap
What: We added the ability to drag and drop users to assignments when they respond to a Rapid Recall, even when there is shift overlap.
Why: This was done to improve your experience when using the Rapid Recall feature.
How:
To utilize this feature, you will need Rapid Recall enabled and set up. Follow this article for further - Rapid Recall Settings
Next, you would drag and drop the user from the Call Shift section on the Shift Board to the appropriate assignment.
Call Shift - Last Date worked vs Last Day Accepted
What: A new option has been added that allows you to determine the Ranking Option when setting up Call Shift Rules that use the list sorting option of Rotating.
The Ranking Option allows you to choose between two options:
Last Date Accepted: This option allows you to move the individual when they have accepted the Call Shift.
Last Date Worked: This option allows the user to move based on the Start Date and Time of the accepted Call Shift.
Why: This was done per the request of a department.
How: Navigate to Scheduling > Setup > Call Shift Rules and either edit or create a new rule. You will see the Ranking Option at the bottom.
Use Case:
Last Date Worked Use Case: I want the user to rotate on the list as soon as they accept a call shift.
Last Date Accepted Use Case: I send out multiple call shifts for future dates. I want to ensure that any call shifts sent for after that date passes, the user rotates, but anything between now and the date, I don't want them to move.
Call Shifts - Show Qualifier in Call Shift Details
What: We added the ability to turn on or off the visibility of Qualifiers when viewing a specific call shift's details.
NOTE: This only affects the default behaviour of the Qualifiers Column; users still can hide or show the column within the Details page.
Why: This was done per the request of a department.
How:
Navigate to Setup > Call Shift Rules > Settings, and towards the bottom of the options, you will see the toggle to Show Qualifiers in Call Shift Details.
Next, navigate to Call Shifts and view the details of a particular call shift by clicking the eyeball. You will see that there is no qualifier column within the Details.
Use Case: This can clear the clutter of Qualifiers to make a more visually appealing details page, especially if users are assigned to multiple Qualifiers.
What: We have adjusted the way that the Contactable User Preview shows within the Call Shift Rules Setting. When the Call Shift Rule has more than two qualifiers, you will not see the preview of who will be contacted.
Why: This was done to improve the performance of the system by limiting the information that has to be loaded within the preview.
How: When you are creating a new Call Shift Rule, and you assign more than 2 Qualifiers, the system will inform you that the Contactable Employees section is disabled.
Show Qualifier in My Shifts Toggle
What: Users can now choose to show the Qualifiers that they are assigned to for a particular day on the My Shifts calendar.
Why: This was done per a department's request.
How: Navigate to Set-up and Toggle on Show Qualifiers in My Shifts. You can then view your My Shifts calendar, and you will see the qualifier that you are placed on for a particular day.
Use Case: This allows you to see what you will be doing on a future date.

Fixes
Inconsistent Assignments Without Time (AWT) time representation across CSV and printouts
What: This update resolves multiple inconsistencies in how Assignments Without Time (AWTs) and User Rotations are represented in CSV exports and printouts from the Shift Board. The fix ensures that printed and exported outputs align with what users see in the schedule view, improving data clarity and accuracy.
AWTs no longer appear as 24-hour shifts in CSV exports; time is omitted as expected.
Time intervals in printed Shift Board rosters now match the ones seen in the UI schedule view.
AWTs spanning 24 hours include clear time indicators in printouts to avoid empty/misleading fields.
User rotation-based intervals are now printed correctly for full visibility into shift responsibilities.
Display Error Validation Message When Split and Save Fail to Apply Changes
What:This enhancement addresses misleading success messages that appeared when Split & Save operations failed to apply changes.
Time Off- 500 Error when requesting Time Off that is a Protected Type, despite valid configuration
This fix addresses the production issue identified, where users encountered server errors when requesting protected time off types on days with existing approved requests. The error occurred specifically when auto-approve rules were properly configured but the system failed to process the submission due to an internal validation conflict.
Time Off / Shift Trades – The Approval process fails when the user has multiple roles
What: This release resolves critical approval process malfunctions affecting users with multiple assigned roles in both Time Off and Shift Trades modules.
AD HOC Reporting - Fix for Missing Rotation Occurrences
What:This update addresses a bug where certain personnel were missing from ad hoc payroll reports due to lost rotation occurrences in the database. The issue was triggered when users were removed and re-added to rotations, but their occurrences were not regenerated, resulting in incomplete report data. The fix introduces a backend command to allow Support to regenerate this data when needed.
What: This release addresses critical issues affecting the reliability of shift trade request visibility in the Review tab. This fix ensures all users can consistently see pending trade requests irrespective of the time zone discrepancies and provides clear visual data loading indicator.
My Shifts - The iCal link is not reflecting accurate data
What: This fix resolves an issue where iCal calendar synchronization displayed incorrect user shift information due to a mismatch between the Rotation configuration and the Assignment creation recurrence rule configuration
Shift Association Warning after Compound Rotation Removal
What: This fix resolves a critical issue where shifts removed from compound rotations were incorrectly blocked from being associated with regular rotations. The system now properly clears references when shifts are disassociated from compound rotations, allowing seamless reassignment to other rotation types.
Accrual Toggles Not Working Appropriately
What: This fix resolves a UI state management issue where time off type toggles in accrual profiles would incorrectly remain visually enabled after canceling changes. The toggle state would also carry over to other profiles, creating confusion for users who might believe their changes were applied when they weren't actually saved.
Shift Board - Second confirmation window does not appear when denying recurring Time Off
What: This fix resolves a critical issue where the second confirmation modal for recurring Time Off denials was not appearing in the Scheduling Deputy (Shift Board), preventing users from completing the denial process. The fix ensures proper modal sequencing and restores full functionality for managing recurring Time Off requests.
Call Shift - Entry not marked as Uncharged after Shift Removal when "Only Charge Once Per Day" Toggle is on
What: This fix resolves a critical issue where removing shifts from the Shiftboard that originated from call shifts failed to properly update the charged status when the "Only charge once per day" toggle is enabled. The system now correctly marks removed call shift entries as uncharged, ensuring accurate ranking calculations and proper call shift status tracking.
Payroll Digital Time Card Report Issues
What: This release resolves critical date filtering issues in the Payroll Digital Timecard report that were preventing accurate data retrieval when using custom time ranges. The fix ensures proper inclusion of activities from the selected start date, regardless of start time configuration and corrects inconsistent date displays across report sheets.
