Feature Enhancements
1. Add "No End Date" Option for Recurring Events.
- What: Ability to create recurring events with no end date.
- Why: Eliminates the need to periodically update ongoing events.
- How: When creating a recurring event, select the "No End Date" Checkbox.
- Use Case: The event will continue to recur indefinitely until manually canceled or edited.
Bug Fixes
1. Fix Event Signup Email Notification System for Large Participant Groups
- What: Fixes an issue where email notifications for large event sign-ups would time out and cause duplicate emails to be sent repeatedly.
- Why: Ensures no duplicate emails are sent, even during system interruptions.
- How: The system now processes large batches of notification emails in the background while
2. Fix for "Failed to retrieve user groups" Error
- What: Resolves an issue where users without the "Create and Edit Daily Log" permission would receive an error when trying to add participants to an event.
- Why: Users can now add participants to events regardless of their Daily Log Permissions.
- How: Event participants assignment now works correctly for all users with appropriate Events & Activities permissions.
3. Fixed download button for archived Events.
- What: Resolves an issue where the download button on the Events list was not properly downloading archived data.
- Why: Downloads now correctly reflect the currently selected tab (Active or Archived)
- How: When on the Active tab, clicking download will export only active events and when on the Archived tab, clicking on the download will only export archived events.
