New Features

Feature Enhancements

Training - Cancel button removed and replaced with Done button in Self Complete Classes

  • What: Removal of the Cancel Button in the Self Complete modal
  • Why: Provides accurate representation of the action by the end user when self completing objectives
  • How: Once objectives are complete the user simply selects Done on the self complete modal for objective completion
  • Use Case: When users are self completing a class assignment. 
  • Reminder: This action will not complete the class, the user is only signifying they have completed the objective




Training - Field Management Restructure 

  1. What: Separate tabs for "Required Field Management" (formerly called Field Management) and "Limited Edits Allowed Management."
  2. Why: Better identification of former Field Management and add the Limited Edits Allowed Management
  3. How: Navigate to Training > Setup > Field Management to access these areas
  4. Use Case: Admins who wish to establish which fields are required during class creation and to determine which fields are locked when creating a course



Training - Limited Edits Allowed Management

  1. What: Manage the capability to edit 20+ fields during class creation 
  2. Why: Give Module Admins greater flexibility in determining which fields the class creator can edit. 
  3. How: Navigate to Training > Setup > Field Management > Limited Edits Allowed Management. Fields selected here are not allowed to be edited if during the Course creation process the Admin selects the "Limit Edits Allowed" toggle switch. Reminder: Ensure you select Save at the end to ensure selections have been captured
  4. Use Case: Admin wanting to customize which fields will be locked during class creation.  


Training - Time Clock Admin Override Capabilities (For Departments with Scheduling Module and Time Clock only) 

  1. What: Allow Module Admins the ability to add or modify time records for a class 
  2. Why: To give Module Admins greater authority to modify time records as it relates to Training without an approval workflow
  3. How: Navigate to the Attendee area within a class, select the pencil icon of the attendee needing adjustment, Modify or Add the appropriate clock in time. 
  4. Use Case: Class attendees either did not clock in correctly or the clock in was not captured for training purposes.  
  5. Reminder: Proper permissions for the Training Module will need to be granted for the override to work. 








Fixes

  • Training - Required Fields:
    • When fields are marked as required in the Field Management settings an asterisk (*) will appear during class creation denoting those required fields. 
  • Training - Objective Management: 
    • Resolved an issue where during objective creation the admin could not add a YouTube link and an attachment to the same objective.  
  • Training - Default Start Time Display
    • When creating a class, the default start time created in set up will populate both in the Actual Start Time and the Actual End Time fields
