Response Breakdown Report

Purpose

  1. To explain the Response Breakdown Report for the Incident Documentation module.


How is this report helpful?

  1. It provides a high level look at incident count by Dispatches mapped to NFIRS Incident Types (NFIRS 100, 200, 300, etc series incidents).
  1. This report answers the question: "What were we dispatched to?"
  1. The data source for this report is the Dispatch Type from the Response Module.

  2. Excellent for presentation to stakeholders, decision-makers, and the community, as well as for comparison to the "Incident Type Breakdown" canned report.

  3. By selecting "All Data" within the report, the table view provides the following elements:
    1. Dispatch Address
    2. Dispatch Type
    3. Dispatch Date/Time
    4. Incident Type

Instructions

  1. Navigate to Reports > Incidents.






  2. The default report is Response Breakdown. This report automatically loads.

  3. The default Date Interval is the Last 6 Calendar Months

  4. Select Advanced Search to modify the Date Interval.






  5. The following are options for the Date Interval filter:






  6. Select   to enter focus view (enlarges chart to full screen).

  7. Select  to download the chart to a .png file for further sharing.






  8. Select "All Data" to view the table view.






  9. Select a "Page" button to navigate to a specific page.

  10. Select a "View Count" button to display selected number of rows on a single page view.

  11. Select  to download the report into a CSV file.

If a portion of your report shows as Not Mapped, additional steps should be taken. Navigate to Response > Dispatch Incident Types and ensure all items have a corresponding NFIRS code associated.
