Quick Start Guide: Personnel Module - User

Purpose

  1. To provide a brief overview of the First Due Personnel Module.

Navigation


My Profile

  1. Confirm your information is up-to-date by quickly reviewing your profile. 
    1. Click on your Name in the upper right of the screen to access your profile information.
    2. Ensure your profile information is up to date.
    3. Click Save to update your profile. 





  2. Clicking on Notifications brings up a sub-menu, where you can change how you would like to be notified of new messages for callbacks and changes to your schedule. 
  1. Phone SMS: A traditional text message sent to the phone number listed in your profile.
  2. Email: A email sent to the email address listed in your profile.
  3. Phone Call: A phone call to the telephone number listed in your profile.
  4. Push Notification: If you have downloaded the First Due application, a push notification will display on your mobile device. 




IMPORTANT: Any time changes are made, ensure you click Save or all information changed will be lost. 


My Shifts

  1. Navigate to Personnel > My Shifts.
    1. The day highlighted in yellow is the current date. 
    2. You are able to see upcoming shifts and days where Time Off has been approved.
    3. You are also able to set availability for days you are able to work.

Shift Board

  1. Navigate to Personnel > Shift Board
  2. This allows you to see the personnel working, as well as their apparatus and riding assignments.

Shift Trades

  1. Navigate to Personnel > Shift Trades
  2. From here, you are able to select shifts you wish to trade with fellow employees.

 Time Off

  1. Navigate to Personnel > Time Off
  2. If your department uses First Due for leave requests, you can request those days here.
