To provide an overview of the Single Day view on the Shift Board.

Directions
1. Click on Scheduling> Shift Board.
2. The upper left hand corner has several useful features:
The collapse button allows all vacancies to be hidden on the schedule.
The lock and unlock buttons allow for validation of the schedule.
The search feature allows you to search for:
User.
Qualifier
Rank
Group
District
3. Clicking on More Options allows you to add a Snap Assignment or view the Roster Count. You can also click the print icon to generate a PDF view of the days shift board.
4. The colors that you see on the shiftboard also tell you key information.
At the top are the rotations working for the day, and their associated colors. These colors correlate to individuals and the rotations that they're on.
To the left of a individuals name in this example is a red bar. This red bar is the work type that the individual is on.
Finally, the qualifiers and groups appear next to the individuals name.
Hollow appearing icons indicate a group the individual is associated with.
Solid icons indicate the qualifiers a individual is associated with.
5. Clicking on next shift date allows you to jump to the next date that the rotation would be working. If you jump ahead a day (or go back) you will see the today button turn blue. This allows you to quickly return to today's date.
6. Clicking on the calendar allows you to jump ahead either days, months, or years. You can also use the blue arrows to go day by day without selecting the Calendar.
7. Boards are like a quick saved view to filter down what assignments you see. If you don't have any boards, you can select the x Items next to it and filter out which assignments you don't want to see.
8. The scheduling deputy shows you:
The total users (People Assigned) for the day.
Any individuals in Unassigned Persons.
Any individuals on Time Off.
Any individuals on a trade.
Any individuals Available or Not available for work.
Any Individuals who accepted a call shift.
Any individuals in the off roster section.
9. Events show any notes and or events for the day.
