Enhancements

1.  Past Due Status Type for Nested Checks
  • What - Enhanced nested equipment and kit inspection visibility by displaying required checks that are past their due time with a "Past Due" status label in orange, allowing users to complete scheduled inspections until the next day even after the due time has passed.

  • Why - This enhancement was implemented due to customer request to provide flexibility for completing same-day inspections that may have been delayed due to operational demands, preventing inspections from disappearing prematurely while maintaining visibility of their overdue status for accountability and compliance tracking.

  • How - The past due status displays automatically in nested inspections:

    • Start an inspection with nested equipment and/or kit inspections
    • Nested inspections scheduled for today but past due time display with:
      • "Past Due" label in orange color
      • Start/Join option remains available
    • Complete past due nested inspections during same calendar day
    • Inspections remain accessible until the next day
    • Status visibility maintains awareness of overdue condition
  • Use Case - Firefighters starting the evening apparatus check on Engine 2 at 6:00 PM can still access and complete the nested SCBA equipment inspection that was due at 12:00 PM but was delayed due to multiple emergency calls throughout the day. The inspection displays with an orange "Past Due" label, allowing the crew to complete all required checks before midnight while documenting the delayed completion for supervisor review and compliance records.
