Purpose Statement
The My Credentials List View allows users to review credentials assigned to them, monitor renewal progress, and upload supporting renewal documentation when enabled by the agency.
This area helps personnel stay aware of credential status, renewal requirements, and documentation needs without relying solely on administrative follow-up.
Background Information
The My Credentials area is located in the Training Module and is designed for end users to manage and monitor their assigned credentials.
Users can view credentials assigned to them, check the current status of each credential, review renewal progress, and upload completed renewal documents such as licenses or certificates when the option is enabled.
Progress tracking may vary depending on how the credential was created and configured. Progress tracking data shown in the My Credentials List View currently comes from the credential itself. For newly created credentials, progress may be monitored through a Training Plan instead.
Some functionality may change as the credentials management process continues to evolve.
Required Permissions
Access to the My Credentials List View is controlled by the agency’s user permissions and credential configuration.
Users must have access to the Training Module and the My Credentials area to view assigned credentials. The ability to upload external credential documentation depends on agency configuration and admin settings.
Admins determine which credentials are available for end user management. As a result, end users may not see every credential associated with the agency.

Best Practices
Keep credential documentation current by uploading renewal files as soon as they are completed.
Verify that issue and expiration dates are accurate before submitting an external credential for review.
Use the default filters regularly to identify credentials that are active, in progress, not started, or need attention.
Use search and filters to quickly locate specific credentials, especially if you have multiple assigned credentials.
Do not upload unrelated files or incomplete documentation, as this may delay admin review and approval.
Remember that available credential upload options are determined by admin settings. If a credential is not available for upload, contact your agency administrator or training officer.
Troubleshooting & FAQs
Why do I not see the Upload External Credential option?
The option may not be enabled for your agency, your user role, or the specific credential. Credential availability for end user management is controlled by admin settings.
Why do I not see all agency credentials in the dropdown?
End users may only see credentials that admins have made available for end user management. You may not see every credential associated with the agency.
What type of file should I upload?
Upload the actual credential document being managed, such as a certification, license, or renewal document.
What happens after I submit an external credential?
An admin is notified of the submission. Once the admin approves it, the document becomes part of the credential record.
Why does my progress appear in a Training Plan instead of the credential?
For some newly created credentials, renewal or completion progress is monitored through a Training Plan rather than directly on the credential.
What does Needs Attention mean?
Needs Attention may include credentials that require supporting documentation or another action before the credential can be completed or approved.
What does In Progress mean?
In Progress refers to credentials that have not yet been issued but are being worked toward.
What does Not Started mean?
Not Started refers to credentials where the renewal process has not been started.
