Purpose Statement
This feature allows departments to share inspection data with partner agencies or jurisdictions in a controlled, view-only format. It enhances collaboration, improves situational awareness, and reduces duplicate inspections while maintaining data integrity and security.
Background Information
Data sharing is an optional feature in First Due that must be enabled at the account level. Once activated, departments can grant partner agencies access to view inspection records. Only In Progress and Completed inspections are eligible for sharing.
This functionality is particularly useful for:
- Mutual aid partners
- Overlapping jurisdictions
- County or regional inspection coordination
To enable data sharing, agencies must contact their Implementation Manager (during onboarding) or Client Success Manager (post-implementation).
