Purpose Statement
The Inspections List provides a centralized interface for managing all inspections within your jurisdiction. It enables users to search, filter, organize, and take action on inspections efficiently, supporting both administrative oversight and field operations.

The Inspections List acts as the primary hub for inspection management. Users can quickly locate inspections using Global Search or Advanced Search filters, perform bulk actions, and access individual inspection records.
This feature supports:
- Workflow efficiency through filtering and saved views
- Field operations with offline inspection capabilities
- Compliance tracking through inspection statuses and reporting
- Integration with the Inspections Map for geographic visualization
While similar to My Inspections, the Inspections List includes additional filters and actions not available on the My Inspections page.
Required Permissions
- Inspections View – Access the Inspections List
- Inspections Edit – Modify inspections and schedules
- Inspections Delete – Delete inspections (non-completed only)
- Inspections Download – Enable offline inspections
- Email Send – Send inspection reports and reminders

Step-by-Step Guide
1. Access the Inspections List
- Navigate to Inspections
- Select Inspections List
2. Use Global Search
- Enter an address or business name in the search bar
- Select Search
Note: Partial entries will return results.
3. Apply Advanced Search Filters
- Click Apply to open Advanced Search then click the down arrow to show all options
- Enter or select filter criteria such as:
- Inspection Type
- Status
- District or Zone
- Reinspection status
- Overdue inspections
- Invoice status
- Click Apply
Tip: Applied filters appear at the top and can be removed individually.
4. Reset Filters
- Click Reset to clear all Global and Advanced Search filters
5. Save a View
- Apply desired filters
- Click Save View
- Enter a descriptive name (up to 70 characters)
- Click Save
6. Use Saved Views
- Select a saved view from the left panel to quickly reapply filters
7. Switch to Map View
- Click Inspections Map
- View inspections geographically
Note: Map results reflect applied filters.
8. Customize Columns
- Click Show
- Select or deselect columns to display
- Drag and drop columns to reorder
- Adjust column width by dragging separators
- Click column headers to sort ascending/descending
9. Perform Bulk Actions
- Select one or more inspections
- Choose from available actions:
- Delete (non-completed only)
- Download (offline inspections)
- Sync
- Send Email
- Send / Print Inspection Reminder
- Modify Scheduled Inspections
10. Use Individual Inspection Actions
From the Actions column, users can:
- Re-open inspection (Pencil Icon in a Circle)
- Review completed inspection (Eye)
- Start or continue inspection (Play Button)
- Edit schedule (Pencil only)
- Cancel inspection (X)
- Delete inspection (Trash Can)
- View email history (Envelope)
- Sync (Cloud with arrows going in a circle)
- Download for offline use (Cloud with Downward Arrow)
- Remove from cache (Tablet with Trash Can in Front of it)
11. Navigate Page Tools
At the bottom of the page:
- Adjust number of visible rows
- Navigate between pages
- Export data to CSV (respects applied filters)

- Click a linked address to open the associated Occupancy Record

- Apply filters before performing bulk actions to avoid errors
- Use Saved Views for frequently accessed inspection sets
- Be descriptive when naming saved views for clarity
- Use Map View for route planning and geographic insights
- Regularly sync offline inspections to prevent data loss

Troubleshooting & FAQs
Q: Why can’t I delete certain inspections?
A: Completed inspections cannot be deleted. Only scheduled or in-progress inspections can be removed.
Q: Why aren’t my columns saved?
A: Column settings reset when leaving the page unless saved within a view (if supported).
Q: Global Search isn’t returning results. What should I check?
A: Ensure you're searching by address or business name. Use Advanced Search for other criteria.
Q: How do I find overdue inspections?
A: Use the “Show Overdue Inspections” filter in Advanced Search.
Q: My offline inspection didn’t sync. What should I do?
A: Use the Sync button from bulk actions or the individual inspection.
