Frequently Asked Questions
What are the classes?
These are LMS-style classes provided by First Due for your personnel to self-complete on their own schedule. The classes cover various aspects of ePCR processes and First Due platform functionality, designed to supplement the information provided in your standard training webinars.
Who assigned them?
First Due automatically placed these initial classes in your account as part of your Michigan ePCR client setup. No action was required from your agency to receive these training resources.
Do I need to complete them?
No, completion is not mandatory. These classes are provided for your information only as a resource for personnel who would like more detailed information beyond what was covered in the provided webinar training sessions.
Can I add other training to the Training module?
No, you cannot add additional training content to the Training module. The Training module was added to your account specifically for the purpose of these pre-assigned classes. The module will possibly be restricted or turned off in the future unless your agency decides to independently upgrade to other First Due Modules. Please reach out if you would like to speak to our Client Success staff about adding additional modules for your agency.
Where do I find the classes?
You can access the classes on the Training module dashboard within your First Due platform.
Go to: Training Module Dashboard Active and Upcoming Classes
Why is my class not marking complete when I finished?
Make sure you are using the black X box in the upper right corner to close the class when you are completely finished. The "Exit course" button allows you to leave and re-enter the course while saving your place, but it does not mark the class as complete. Only using the black X box will register completion.
Do I need to do anything to these classes as an admin?
No administrative action is required. It's best to simply allow your personnel to take the classes at their own pace and leave the rest of the Training module configuration unchanged. The classes will show in the Training Classes or Training Log of the Training Module.
I need more information about completing an ePCR. Does First Due offer any other classes?
Yes, First Due provides additional ePCR training resources. Please check out the Academy section and the ePCR section of the Knowledge Base for comprehensive training materials and documentation.

- Use the classes as supplemental training
Troubleshooting & FAQs
Issue: Class progress not saving Solution: Ensure personnel use the "Exit course" button to leave temporarily, not the browser back button
Issue: Cannot find Training module Solution: Check that the user has proper platform access and the module appears on the main dashboard
Issue: Class appears incomplete despite finishing Solution: Verify that the black X box was used to close the class, not alternative exit methods
