Purpose Statement
The Violations History feature allows inspectors to view, filter, and analyze both current and historical violations for an occupancy during the inspection process. This functionality improves decision-making by providing visibility into past compliance issues, transferred violations, and resolution trends, ensuring more consistent and informed inspections.
Background Information
Violations History is embedded within the inspection workflow to give inspectors real-time access to an occupancy’s violation records. Inspectors can review active violations, historical records, transferred violations, and associated documentation such as photos and prior inspection reports.
Improve usability by allowing inspectors to:
- Filter violations by status (e.g., corrected, failures, citations, transferred in)
- Quickly search large datasets
- Expand long descriptions and remarks using “Show More”
- Customize visible columns in the violations grid
- Access related inspection reports, forms, and images directly
This ensures a more efficient review process and better tracking of recurring or unresolved issues.
Required Permissions
