Purpose Statement
The Call Shift Ranking page allows administrators and supervisors to review, manage, and analyze the ranking order used for call shift notifications. This page provides visibility into how personnel are ordered for overtime or callback opportunities based on qualifiers, call shift rules, group filters, and availability status.
By using the Ranking view, departments can ensure fairness, transparency, and compliance with internal policies or collective bargaining agreements governing call shift distribution.
Background Information
Call shift rankings determine the order in which personnel are contacted when a call shift is initiated. Rankings may vary based on:
- Qualifiers (e.g., rank, certification, assignment)
- Call shift rules
- Group associations
- Availability status
- Specific dates
The Ranking page enables administrators to simulate how the call shift list will appear on a future date, evaluate availability conflicts, and download ranking data for documentation or auditing purposes.
End users can also access their own ranking details to view call shifts they have been contacted for and monitor their status.
