Purpose Statement
The Rapid Recall feature allows departments to quickly notify qualified personnel of an immediate staffing need. By leveraging pre-configured templates, supervisors can initiate a large-scale notification in seconds, ensuring timely response to emergency incidents, large-scale events, or unexpected staffing shortages.
Rapid Recall streamlines mass notification while maintaining control over qualifiers, rules, and messaging.
Background Information
Rapid Recall is part of the Call Shifts module within Scheduling. It is designed for urgent staffing scenarios where multiple personnel may need to be contacted simultaneously.

- Predefined start and end dates
- Predefined start and end times
- Assigned positions
- Specific qualifiers (e.g., rank, certification, apparatus qualification)
- Qualifier rules
- Default messaging
When initiating a Rapid Recall, these values auto-populate based on the selected template, reducing manual entry and minimizing errors during time-sensitive situations.
